We have been so busy since I last posted! Since then a lot has happened...
Evan was in the Sound of Music as Fredrich, the oldest son of the Captain.
Here he is wearing the "curtains" for play clothes!
What a lot of hard work these kids and teachers put into this! Evan was even nominated for best actor by his peers during the "Espys". He didn't win, but what an honor! He was inducted into the Thespian Society and was received, with two others, the academic honor award and pin.
(Evan and Graham both had birthday's durning all of this. Evan turned 18 and Graham 16)
Graham and his old teammates from PYBA, Braden and Tyler, played in a church basketball tournament. Graham designed the shirts:) It was a three on three tournament and they were the only "kids" to make it to the semi-finals.
Here they are DRIVING away to go get some lunch! Where do the years go!
My sweet brother painted our entry way...which was no small feat!
He had to be able to reach the top of the two story entry to paint soo...
...this is how he did it! His words, "Oh, don't worry Sis, I do this all the time. This ladder's not going anywhere!"
He was right! It worked and he did a beautiful job! I was so ready to have this done. I promise Tina and Becky, I will show before's and after's really soon!
Next, it was off to Fripp! Vladimir and Doug loved the beach...
...as long as they weren't on a leash! This is Vladimir, and he hates his leash:(
They met a new friend! This little girl yelled, "Puppies! And Vlad and Doug lathered her in kisses!"
Mammy went with us! It has been a long winter for all of us and it felt good to be together at the beach.
Like little ducklings they followed Todd to the COLD water.
It didn't seem to bother them! That was one of two days that was nice enough to be at the beach. The rest of the time it rained, hailed and rained some more:(
This is hail on the golf course! It looks like snow...something that we all were sick of seeing (and that they were still getting) back home! I said to my mom, "Oh my, that's hail!" And my niece Sophie replied, "What did you say Aunt Holly!?" I explained to her that it was hail, not hell, and she asked what hail was. Being in the south you forget that some people have never experienced being in a hail storm. I told her it was ice that falls from the clouds and said, "I'll be right back!" And went out to get some. She soon followed with a cup and scooped up a cupful and put it in the freezer to keep!
Here are the girls meeting the boys for the first time. They just get prettier and smarter every time I see them:)
Because of the yucky weather, the kids stayed inside a lot but they kept themselves busy. Here is Sarah and Graham playing Jenga!
It rained so much that I now know why there is a bridge that is placed for golf carts to get to the green (our backyard). I have never seen so much water, but it brought these birds (cranes?) to visit which were beautiful to watch!
Look who also came down! Troy and Tyler Troy!
They worked in between the rain and in the rain putting roofing material on the front balcony.
A meeting of the minds! My parents came too, and this is a picture of my dad talking to Todd, who had a double ear infection, fever and sore throat, talking about the next step. I was so glad that Tyler came down because Todd was sick the whole week they worked on this project.
This was the last day we were at Fripp and it was finally sunny and warm! You can see the roofing material Troy put on the balcony floor. Great job Troy and Tyler! What a good team they make:)
I took this picture because the deer still had a lot of fur on them for this time of the year! God knew that they would need it a little while longer.
Evan didn't go with us to Fripp this year. He went with his friends and his friends family on a cruise! He was sick the whole time too poor kid, but still had a good time.
Since before Christmas this is what I have been preparing the house and my mind for, Evan's open house and graduation. I had Melody, Evan's fourth grade teacher now turned photographer, put this together. I wanted it to be a collaboration of his senior year. Of course the musical pix, and the senior pictures (the one in the suit will be in the year book). The pose on the rock and the tennis picture was taken by Todd at Fripp and during tennis season. I took the one at The Citadel when we visited last summer. It just made me think of Evan stepping into his future!

Yesterday was the last day to teach the two and three year old boys and girls at bible study. Although I love it, it does take up a lot of time. I will now focus that time, one month, to finish getting ready for graduation. These two guys I have taught for two years now at BSF. They are Eli and Ezra and they are the most loving and intelligent boys I know! I feel so blessed that God allowed me to teach them, and ten other boys and girls, His true word!
I leave you with two other loving and intelligent boys. Here they are eating mulch! I don't know what it is but these two love mulch. These were taken after their day at the "spa" with Lindsay!
Sir Vladimir and...
...Doug!
