best friends...

On this beautiful fall morning Doug and Vladimir had fun playing in the yard with their new best friend, Hunter.
This is Hunter's best friend...and ours, Tom!

This picture cracks me up...it is like Hunter is saying, "What, where did they go!"
He is trying to turn around as fast as Doug and Vlad are headed the other way.
a meeting of the minds
It's like Doug is showing Hunter around, "This is the pool..." lol!
This is near the end and you can tell Vlad has had it. He was wet, cold, and his fur was full of leaves.
He was most tired because he barked and yelped the WHOLE time he was playing.
Ahhhhh...it's going to be a nice peaceful afternoon around here, they are passed out!
Nothing like a morning with best friends:)

tennis banquet and college tours

Well, it all started last summer.
Graham worked with Troy and Dennis to prepare for season
and it was a great season for him and the team!

At Fripp near the end of our summer stay.
Troy, Graham and Dennis
Hard to believe that the season is over and the banquet was last night!

We had good food and a good time.
Royce presenting certificates for letters to the varsity
Graham's certificate for a letter
(pictures are not very good)
Graham and Brandon receiving their captains stars
And they both got the spirit award

Royce giving Graham his certificate for all Conference
Certificate for third place in district
sectional winner letter and blue ribbon
and...trophy for MVP!

Next, it was Graham's turn to get up and speak.
He presented the presents to Royce and Dennis.
And then, he presented Ben (the manager) with a tennis racquet.
He was so thrilled with it and very surprised! He is a 7th grader so he
has two good years to get ready:)
Last week was fall break and Graham and I headed to South Carolina to visit Wofford College and The College of Charleston.
This is Graham on the admissions front porch after we were finished with our tour.
He didn't want to leave! He loves it in the LOW COUNTRY...like his momma!
If he chooses to go here, this is where he would spend a lot of his time...the science building.
This is called the Main building. He would have some English classes in here.
This is another place where he would like to spend a lot of his time.
We met with the coach and it was a very informative meeting.
This is the tennis center.

These are pictures of the village.
There are classrooms, a place to eat, and loft style housing on the top floor (for seniors),
in the first picture and then in the picture right
above you can see in the background the new housing for seniors only.
More pictures of senior housing.

The senior housing is located behind the tennis area.
In the picture above is a basketball area and then a volleyball area on the opposite side of the sidewalk.

It was a beautiful campus.
Next, we were off to the College of Charleston...
another beautiful campus in the heart of the city.
I left my battery charger to my camera at home, so I just have these pictures that I found online to show.
This is the tennis center in Mt. Pleasant on Patriots Point.
Graham got to speak briefly with the asst. men's coach.
We got to see Evan and Chad! Chad flew in to Charleston to log flight hours.
I used Graham's IPhone and it wouldn't let me edit in Picasa, so...
it is not the greatest:(
They sure have grown up!
It felt so good to have all of my boys in the same place at the same time!
Evan even got to stay the night at the hotel with Graham and I...
funny...I slept so good that night!
