holding down the fort...

Becky is trying to close on a house that she found and put an offer (which was accepted!) on during last weekends quick trip to Florida. I am so excited for her and Chad and I am so proud of her for assuming the responsibility of home buying by herself! Chad doesn't know how good he's got it:-)

What a beautiful place to be stationed for a few years! How nice it will be that you will be able to put your bare feet and painted toes in the sand, during the month of January, while ours will be double layered in thermal socks; shoved in boots and planted in the snow or slipping on the ice here in good ol' Indiana.
Sooooo not fair...just sayin'!

Also, happy anniversary to my mamma and daddy! They are at Fripp right now putting there toes in the sand...sooooooo not fair! I'M JUST SAYIN'!

They sure do work well as a team - of course we all knew they would, right from the get-go. And I agree - so not fair on the sand and shore and weather thing. I'm just sayin, too! But I know how Becky loves being down south, so I am happy for them both, anyway.

Thanks Holly--you sure did help out a lot during that crazy weekend in FL....hopefully next time I go down there, the only stress I'll feel will be in my muscles from moving all of our stuff into our new home :) I can't wait! I bought all new living room furniture....just need a place to put it! I'm hoping to make some major moves on getting everything squared away this week. And once we are down there, you need to come immediately to help me exterior/interior decorate! I've already got some funky ideas that I need your input on ;) Love you!
