evan's graduation parties and graduation day!

Graduation day was nearing and Todd and I were sooo busy getting everything ready! The boys were also a great help. They layed 25 yards of mulch, pulled weeds, edged and helped spray the pool deck etc.
Todd is busy here spraying off the deck, screened in porch and veranda.
Graham decided to take a break from helping me spray off all of the furniture and be the first one in the pool!
Chad is usually the first one in Grandma and Grandpa's pool and was the first in ours last year. Graham knew he was coming home and made sure he wasn't first.

Becky and Chad stopped by one day and Becky was able to meet up with Anna, one of her best friends since grade school. Chad, thank you so much for taking leave to come to Evan's graduation party:)
My friend Leslie did all of the food except for the roast beef for the sandwiches. I would like to thank her, my mom, Amy, Karen, and Ellen for lending me their crock pots to cook all of the meat. The garage never smelled so good:)
I was so glad that we had a tent. It made such a good place to set tables under and display all of Evan's books and such.

Kiely was so good about taking these pictures of what was inside the tent. I was so busy I didn't get a chance to...thanks Kiely!

We used the screened in porch for the food. This made it nice and convenient for my dear friends Julie and Amy to keep platters stocked, drinks filled etc.

Dad was the first in line!
Had to have corn hole!

I was so glad the kids took these pictures. I just wish Graham would have been in the last one. He had already left to go to a friends birthday party:(
Sooo, near the end Alan and Chad threw Evan in the pool!
It was such a fun night and I can't thank everyone enough for helping with it!!

The weekend before our party at home Evan and his cousin's from Todd's side of the family had a graduation party at the family reunion.

It was such a nice party and it forced me to get all of Evan's books finished before our party.
The other cousin's graduating...Sam, Evan and Zach.

Graduation Day!!! Here is Evan getting his diploma:)

Evan was senior class president so he opened the ceremonies and gave a speech. He is smiling here because he added Alan's name in the speech!

Turning of the tassel
Evan's neck sash is for being in National Honors Society. His cords are for being in Beta and for being an honor thespian. His medals are for graduating with honors and for achieving a summa degree (a degree only Pendleton gives out to honor those students who go above and beyond the honors degree).

Me, Evan and Todd...soooooo proud!
