Evan and John (a buddy from The Citadel) turned heads as they ran the beach on Fripp Island;)
Evan has two weeks under his belt now. He has tested out of a whole SEMESTER of classes thanks to all of the AP tests he took in high school! He thinks that he wants to take summer classes and graduate a year early and use part of that year preparing for the L Stats. He is getting an A in his psychology class and has passed his PT both weeks.
He has injured his knee but is still conditioning by riding the bike etc. He even improved his two mile running time with that bummed up knee:)
Dad and I are so proud of you Evan! Keep up the good work...only 2 more weeks left and CSI is over and then it's on to the BIG STUFF...we know you can do it!
Graham is still training with Uncle Troy. He plays tennis everyday and is really improving. He has chosen some colleges to look at that he thinks would be a good fit for playing tennis and receiving a pre-med degree. Todd worked hard putting together endless hours of footage to make a tape for coaches to view. It is on You Tube:
check it out! Todd did a great job on it.
He is also busy doing his summer reading. This is one of three books that he has to read.
It is sooo hard sitting in a room reading when you have this right outside your window:
the marsh
migrating and baby egrets
endless marsh sunsets
the beach
Oh, how I will miss this beautiful island. We leave at the end of the week so Graham can get back home to start team practice and finish up the driving section of driver's ed!
But, for now I am going to be like Scarlett and think about that tomorrow!
Graham's private tennis coach and friend/tennis instructor/med student are here this week to see how Troy trains him. Then, Todd comes in tomorrow (I CANNOT WAIT!) And my dad will be in Wednesday. Todd, Graham, the dogs and I will head home Sunday and Grandma and Grandpa will wait for Evan to finish up mid week next week and bring him home for a very short stay before we head back to SC to leave him at The Citadel.
I know that it will be such a change for our family when Evan is down here and we are home but it makes it easier knowing how much he is liking it!
I love you boys and am filled with so much joy seeing how God is working in your lives and guiding you. I feel so blessed that He chose me to be your mom:)
