We visited Mammy's house Christmas Eve day...which just happens to be her birthday too! :)
so...
...first things first, the boys played "Happy Birthday" to Mammy!
Graham continued to play some Christmas music out of his old music book.
Then it was time to pass out the presents.
Mammy opened first.
It was Evan's picture from The Citadel.
New gel mats for the kitchen and...
a Kurig coffee maker!
Troy and Theresa's gift to Mammy...we missed you all:(
Evan and Graham's gifts from Uncle Troy and Aunt Theresa.
More tennis shirts!! They can never have too many of these.
Stockings were next!
Thank you hugs for all the nice gifts and great food (as always)!
Thanks for everything Mammy:)
We came home and let the "boys" out and decided to unwrap our gifts Christmas Eve...
something that Evan didn't like too well...he doesn't handle change very well!
Graham was first. He was told that he had to search for his on the tree.
He found it! It was money to go towards his new car stereo and subs.
Evan opening up his IPhone and Lizzy opening up her gift card.
Evan on the search for his next gift.
Graham opening up his gift card from Game Stop that Evan got him...Doug and Vladimir would love to get their paws on it and teeth into it!
After we opened up gifts we put in an old VCR tape of the boys when they were 3 and 1. It was so great to hear Paps voice and see him, grandma nannie, and my sister!
Christmas day was at my parents house.
Kiely stirring her green beans!
Alan and Graham catching up.
Alan and Kiely
(sorry for cutting your head off, Alan)
Evan and Kiely
Aunt Ellen and Kiely
Troy brought over Winston for us all to see.
LOVE! :)
More pictures while we waited on Tyler Troy to join us.
Evan enjoying a cup of coffee while waiting.
And Graham teaching Kiely how to play a game on his IPhone...Alan is automatically addicted to it!
Enough waiting, Todd put the Yule log on (the tv) and we got started unwrapping!
Grandma Kay went first. She unwrapped the gift that we got her...
...a new tennis bag!
This was a gift for mom and dad.
Evan's picture from The Citadel!
Next, she opened up this Angel holding a candle from Alan and Kiely.
...meanwhile, yep! they're still at it...
A car windshield protector from the snow and ice for gpa's truck and...
a storm predictor from Ellen and Troy.
Oh my! You should have heard the comments that came from my husband, Alan, and Troy's mouth on this one! (hint: the shape of it) Ellen said, "Now come on guys, it's a Holy day!"
and I said, "Yes it is...right E!" Evan had holes in his socks so gpa fixed them with duct tape!
I know for sure that this fix would not pass inspection at The Citadel, gpa!!!
Anyway...yep, just checking...
Ellen opening up a cute sweat outfit from mom and dad.
Kiely opening up her and Alan's gift from Mom, Dad, Todd and I.
Cutco cutting board, cheese slicer, garlic press, pizza cutter etc.
...u huh, still at it...
Evan unwrapping a gift card from Alan and Kiely.
Wait a minute...is Alan moving?!
NICE Alan!
New cashmere scarf and texting gloves from gma and gpa.
Graham opening up Troy and Ellen's gift.
Tennis balls and cash from gpa and gma. Kiely shouted from across the room while trying to take Graham's pix, "Graham, hold up your balls!" And then said, "Oh, that didn't sound right!"
Such a Kiely moment ;)
Graham gladly posed for her!
Todd opened up a card from mom and dad with money in it.
Troy posing with some of his goodies!
Merry Christmas hugs for everyone for a beautiful day. We missed you Tyler Troy :(
I wanted to close this post with the prayer that my mom wrote and said before dinner.
