special people!

These two ladies are very special people.
The lady on the left is Martha McNeil.
Martha played the piano at both my wedding and my sister's wedding and we were in
Bible Study Fellowship together for years.
She came to visit her friend, Bernice Swenk while she was in town for a visit.
Bernice is the mother to my Aunt Nancy...
...seen here on the right of my mom.
My Uncle Hal died years ago and I don't get to see much of her since she and her mom live in TX, but I am so glad that I got to spend an afternoon with them this week!!
Bernice is 94 years old and THE sweetest person I know.
She used to teach school at 29th street school in Anderson for over 30 years.
She volunteers at a hospital in TX.
Aunt Nancy said that she delivers flowers and helps run the gift shop.
She said, "She doesn't use a cart for delivery, she just picks them up in her arms and walks that big hospital and delivers each one to the patients!"
She is my new inspiration!!! I could have spent hours talking to her!!
But, mom and I had to say our good-bye's because Graham had a scrimmage match.

He played one set of singles and one set of doubles with Evan Hart and won both.
Looks like a great start to your Senior year G!
Clean up at the courts is this Saturday and the season officially starts on Tuesday...
which is also the first day of school.
WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO!!!
