a wabash wedding!

We went to Wabash College for Kody and Morgan's wedding.
We walked around campus since we were an hour early.
This is where Graham is thinking about going to college.

The first place we walked to was the tennis courts...of course ;)
Graham showing Evan around.
(Evan still is holding out hope for Graham to go to The Citadel)
I asked Graham if he still liked the campus from the first time that he visited and he said, "Yep!"
Those who don't know Graham don't realize that "Yep" is like "YES!!!" in Graham's language.
Talking about how one yard is not much and who has lost a game by just one yard.
This is where Kody spent most of his days at Wabash!
He was a great football player!!
If Graham went here he would be a little giant!

I think that name is fitting.
My handsome boys :)
Time to go to the chapel!
I didn't take a picture of the chapel so I got this one online.
It is such a beautiful place.
I have horrible pictures because I didn't have the settings right on my camera, BUT...
here are Kody's parents Al and Della.
We got to know them when we were neighbors 19 years ago!
I tried to get the back of Della's beautiful dress but that girl is quick!
She looked so beautiful and Al looked very handsome!

Waiting for the bride!
Here she comes...Al is talking with Della's Dad.
Her flowers were baby's breath and just simple candles scattered about the chapel...BEAUTIFUL!
Getting ready to take their vows.
Kody saying his vows...
Morgan saying hers.
The minister was a classmate/football player with Kody.
Al kept his hand on Della's back the whole time.
The kiss!
Mr. and Mrs. Kody Lemond!
A little dance number after the introductions at the reception :)
Now the next big day is when Kory and Maria have their baby July 14...
which just happens to be Della's birthday.
Maria was absolutely glowing.

a day for father's :)

Happy Father's Day, Todd!!
Yep, the boys are officially taller than their dad!
The guys are packing up their clubs and are headed to the golf course.
Have a great game, guys!
While they played golf, I headed over to see my dad!
He was busy out back watering the yard and putting together
his Father's Day gift from two years ago.

A hammock!!
He is the hardest working man I know.
He never ever just sits and relaxes...sooo,
I am hoping he uses this!!
While he was putting his hammock together I took pictures.
(shocker I know)
This is a shot of their new pool house.
The backyard used to consist of the pool and some cement and cement pavers.
My brother and nephew pulled up all of the pavers, extended and painted the fence,
built the pool house, planted the sod, layed rock and planted new plants.
What a difference it made!!
It really is soooo relaxing and open now.
Mom's birdbath/fountain.
The birds LOVE it!
Mom's flowers.
Outside of the backyard fence are beautiful hydrangea's, knock out roses and lilies!
All of my favorite colors!!

Black Eyed Susan's and Cone flowers
I remember when I was a little girl my sister and I used to dance in this side yard to
Sammy Davis Jr.'s song "The Candy Man Can"!
I also used to play Barbies out here for hours :)
More hydrangeas!!
Blue, pink and white...mom's got them all!
In this side yard I used to do gymnastics.
I would tumble for hours!!
Well, it looks like he is ready to get comfortable.
Let's hope that he doesn't tumble right off of there!
He did it!
He wanted to see if it truly was a hammock built for two!
And it is!
But, before I say good-bye, I just want to say...

...visor, headband, ripped paint covered cut-off shorts, 1978 YMCA racquetball t-shirt and all
that's my dad and I LOVE HIM!!
Happy Father's Day, Dad!

Molly getting acquainted with the basement!
Mercedes looking for Molly :)
They were so happy to be home that I couldn't get a really good shot.
Some housewarming cards and gifts :)

Me and Grandma Kay
took time out from moving and cleaning to go watch Graham play tennis
in the finals of a tennis tournament down in Columbus, IN!
HE WON!!
Packing up to get out of the HOT, HOT sun!!
Talking to his opponents Coach and father.
Let's see that plaque G! :)
